Firstly a very warm welcome to the 1st West Moors Scout Group's website! We hope that you find everything you need on the site, however, if you are unsure on anything please get in touch. We are looking for continuing improvement of this site over the upcoming months, so please bear with us while we implement these changes!

Where to Find Us!

From Station Road, West Moors

Turn onto Pinehurst Road
Take second left, then first right onto Shaftesbury Road
Follow this just past Oakhurst First School then turn right into Hardy Close
Then turn first left into Hardy Road, and through a clearing on your right
This will take you past some garages then to our HQ!!

From the A31

Turn left onto Pinehurst Road (By the Texaco garage)
Take the 4th road on the right (Elmhurst Road)
Take the First letf (Hardy Road) and follow road round an 'S' bend
Go through a clearing in the hedge on the left
This will take you past some garages then to our HQ!

About Us

Although our Headquarters in located within the village of West Moors we welcome Beavers, Cubs or Scouts from surrounding towns or villages such as St.Ive's, Three Legged Cross, Ferndown and so on. Both boys and girls are encouraged to join the movement to develop as individuals socially, mentally, physically and spiritually.

The Scout movement is a multi-faith, multi religion organisation so no one belief is pushed upon anyone. It is our aim to give every young person a chance to achieve no matter what their capabilities may be. We have a fantastic team of volutary adult leaders and helpers who between them have many many years experience!
