Firstly a very warm welcome to the 1st West Moors Scout Group's website! We hope that you find everything you need on the site, however, if you are unsure on anything please get in touch. Where to Find Us!
From Station Road, West Moors
Turn onto Pinehurst RoadTake second left, then first right onto Shaftesbury Road
Follow this just past Oakhurst First School then turn right into Hardy Close
Then turn first left into Hardy Road, and through a clearing on your right
This will take you past some garages then to our HQ!!
From the A31
Turn left onto Pinehurst Road (By the Texaco garage)Take the 4th road on the right (Elmhurst Road)
Take the First letf (Hardy Road) and follow road round an 'S' bend
Go through a clearing in the hedge on the left
This will take you past some garages then to our HQ!

Group Events this December!
Yes, its that time of year again where we are starting to get into the festive spirit, and we would like to welcome you all with open arms to the 'Carols at the Petwyn' whcih is being held at the War Memorial in West Moors on December 4th and starts at 6 p.m.
The annual 'Duck Dash' is also fast apporaching and many of you already have your tickets to sell, or have bought some yourself! There will be more infromation shortly so please check back soon! Many Thanks!

Group Scout Leader's Report 2008-9
In West Moors we have a Scout Group to be proud of, providing challenging, fun activities and opportunities for adventure. This is, as I'm sure you are aware down to the hard work of a dedicated team of leaders who give their time freely because they believe in the value of Scouting. Please do remember to thank them from time to time.
I'm not so involved hands on as I once was but when I've joined the Scouts for rifle shooting, helped out at the Cubs Christmas party, joined the Beaver Scouts on outings, attended Remembrance or St Georges Day Parades, I've been very proud of our young people...(Read More...)
